Every week, Indian travelers ask me the same thing: “Dubai ka total kitna padega, and what do I actually get?” A Dubai trip package from India bundles flights, UAE visa, hotel, transfers and sightseeing into one price. I have planned Dubai trips for 20 years, and Astamb Holidays, established in 1999, works as a Dubai destination management company (DMC). Dubai drew 9.88 million overnight visitors in the first half of 2025, with Mumbai among its top routes (DD News). Here is what a package should cost and include.
Quick Answer: A 4-night, 5-day Dubai package from India costs about ₹50,000–₹1,22,000 per person for a 3-star or 4-star stay, including visa, transfers and main sightseeing. The Mumbai–Dubai flight takes about 3 hours 15 minutes. Indians need a UAE visa before travel (government fee AED 264.60, about ₹6,860). The best months are November to March.

What does a Dubai trip package from India include?
- Return flights (some packages are land-only, so ask)
- UAE tourist visa processing
- Hotel in a 3-, 4- or 5-star property
- Airport and sightseeing transfers
- City tour, desert safari with BBQ dinner and dhow cruise
- Daily breakfast (lunch and dinner vary)
Ask what is not included. Common extras are insurance, Burj Khalifa tickets, lunches and the Tourism Dirham fee: AED 20 per room per night in 5-star hotels, AED 15 in 4-star and AED 10 in 3-star (Arabian Business).
Local Insight Tip: Ask for one INR quote that shows visa, taxes and the Tourism Dirham. Quotes that hide these look cheap until payment day.
How much does a Dubai trip cost from India in 2026?
Prices are per person for 4 nights, two sharing a room, at AED 1 ≈ ₹25.7. Hotel rates come from 2026 listings: 4-star rooms run AED 300–600 a night and 5-star AED 700–1,500 (Zurich Kotak).
| Cost item | Budget (3-star) | Mid-range (4-star) | Premium (5-star) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Return flights | ₹18,000–₹28,000 | ₹25,000–₹38,000 | ₹45,000–₹70,000 |
| UAE visa (30-day) | ₹6,900–₹9,500 | ₹6,900–₹9,500 | ₹6,900–₹9,500 |
| Hotel (4 nights) | ₹7,800–₹14,500 | ₹15,500–₹31,000 | ₹36,000–₹77,000 |
| Sightseeing and transfers | ₹6,000–₹9,000 | ₹12,000–₹18,000 | ₹25,000–₹40,000 |
| Food and local transport | ₹9,500–₹14,500 | ₹14,000–₹22,000 | ₹25,000–₹45,000 |
| Insurance, SIM, Tourism Dirham | ₹1,500–₹3,000 | ₹2,000–₹3,500 | ₹3,000–₹5,000 |
| Total per person | ₹49,700–₹78,500 | ₹75,400–₹1,22,000 | ₹1,40,900–₹2,46,500 |
A family of four on a 5-night mid-range trip should plan ₹2,95,000–₹5,10,000 in total (same Zurich Kotak guide). December and January cost the most.
Package or DIY: which is better for Indians?
| Factor | DIY | Package from a DMC |
|---|---|---|
| Planning time | 15+ hours of research | One call or WhatsApp |
| Visa | You file and fix errors | Agent files it |
| Transfers | Taxi each time | Usually included |
| Activities | Full-price tickets | Bundled rates |
| Support in Dubai | A local team |
DIY suits repeat travelers. A package suits first-timers, families and seniors. A DMC like ours also books hotels and safaris directly, so you pay for results, not for another middleman.
Do Indians need a visa for Dubai? Why do some get rejected?
Yes. UAE embassies do not issue tourist visas. Airlines, hotels and licensed agents apply for you (UAE government portal). Your passport needs six months of validity, and a 30-day visa usually takes 2–4 working days.
Visa on arrival is only for Indian passport holders with a valid US visa or green card, a UK or EU visa or residence permit, or a residence permit from Japan, South Korea, Australia, Canada, Singapore or New Zealand. The reported fee is AED 250 plus AED 100 (Esquire India).
Rejections are real. In December 2024, approval rates reportedly fell from nearly 99% to about 94–95% (Business Today). Agents advised a confirmed hotel booking, a return ticket and proof of funds. Rules change, so confirm current needs with your agent.
Local Insight Tip: Never submit fake documents. A rejection can hurt future UAE applications. Some travel insurance plans reimburse non-refundable costs after a visa rejection, so read the policy.
When is the best time to book a Dubai trip package?
| Season | Months | What to expect | Prices |
|---|---|---|---|
| Peak | November–March | Cooler, pleasant weather | Highest |
| Shoulder | April, October | Warm, good deals | Medium |
| Summer | May–September | July near 40°C (Lonely Planet) | Lowest |
Global Village Season 31 opens on 14 October 2026 and runs to May 2027 (Khaleej Times). Entry has historically started near AED 25 (about ₹640). The Dubai Shopping Festival usually runs from December into January, so check Visit Dubai for dates.
What does a 5-day Dubai itinerary look like?
- Day 1: Arrival, Gold Souk, Spice Souk, dhow cruise dinner.
- Day 2: City tour, Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, free Dubai Fountain show.
- Day 3: Desert safari with dune bashing and BBQ dinner.
- Day 4: Ski Dubai, Palm Jumeirah or Global Village. Swap in an Abu Dhabi day trip if you like.
- Day 5: Last shopping, VAT refund claim, airport transfer.
Burj Khalifa levels 124 and 125 were listed from AED 189–205 (₹4,900–₹5,300) in 2026, and sunset slots cost more (Ticket Fairy).

How do you pick a trustworthy Dubai package?
Run through this checklist before you pay anything:
- Licence: The UAE government advises checking that a travel agent is genuine before you share passport copies or pay (UAE portal).
- Written inclusions: Meals, transfers, tickets and visa should be listed line by line.
- Visa fee shown separately: The government fee is about ₹6,860. Anything far lower needs an explanation.
- Hotel name and area: Avoid “3-star hotel, to be confirmed.”
- Cancellation and refund terms in writing, including what happens if a flight changes.
- A Dubai contact number you can call during the trip.
Local Insight Tip: Stay near a metro station. A hotel close to a station can save you ₹1,500–₹3,000 on taxis over a 5-day trip.
How length changes the price per person at mid-range:
| Trip length | Approx. cost per person |
|---|---|
| 4 nights / 5 days | ₹75,400–₹1,22,000 |
| 5 nights / 6 days | ₹95,000–₹1,60,000 |
The 6-day figure comes from the Zurich Kotak cost guide.
